Born and raised under the prairie skies of Manitoba, surrounded by golden fields and among whispers of the trees. A collector of found objects. Avid thunderstorm enjoyer. Excellent burrito wrapper. Currently residing in Southern Ontario. 

Most of my days are spent outdoors camping, gardening, hiking, taking photography and field sketching. In Winter, you’ll find me hibernating with a cozy game and green tea. 

Primarily work with coloured pencils, watercolour and acrylics but love dabbling in just about anything. Inspiration stems from plants, fantasy, landscapes, memories, emotion, and the colours of the world. My dream is to someday own a cottage and take care of gardens, chickens and ducks. 

Deer

  Designed a series of artwork for a deer-themed baby shower dedicated to my sister-in-law. This piece in particular remains very special to me, as the original sketch represents my excitement in awaiting the birth of my niece and becoming an auntie. Personal Work. 5″” x 7″”. The Orange

  Comic illustration based on the poem ‘The Orange’ by Wendy Cope. Client wanted to capture the simple happy moments shared with their partner. Purrfect Couple

  This purrfect couple walks along a familiar trail from their hometown, celebrating the first moments together in catrimony. Clients wanted to be represented as cats following along a path with their favourite wildflowers. A fox needed to make an appearance of course – they are a symbol of good luck in Alexandra’s family.
