This infographic tells the story of the first all-woman team to overwinter in the far north of Norway. Two citizen scientists, Sunniva Sorby and Hilde Fålun Strøm, collected data to understand climate change impacts in polar regions. They shared their findings and research with the world from the historic cabin Bamsebu in Svalbard, Norway. Their organization, Hearts in the Ice, documents the efforts of these unsung heroes.
