Ryan McDermott
Ryan is an illustrator based in Ontario, Canada, with a focus on sculpture, painting, and photography. He uses hand-crafted miniatures to create illustrations composed in a 3D space that are then photographed. Ryan is inspired by textures and materials. Whenever he sees new compelling material, he’s excited to find the right fit for a new project. He is moved by the weird and the bizarre, hoping to capture the beauty within the strange. He is currently creating a series of narrative illustrations based on fantasy tropes.
