Roma Maré is an illustrator and concept artist based in Mississauga, Ontario. Her artwork favours a realistic style while adhering to otherworldly themes. Roma’s diverse skills include storyboarding, keyframes, and character design. Her career goal is to influence as many projects as she can.

Roots of Riverside

Summer 1993. A young woman named Jen visits her Uncle John during his field research. He studies the impact of a nuclear power plant accident on the area’s nature. As she gets familiar with the town, locals warn her to stay out of the forest. There have been sightings of witches.

Detective Mars

Inspired by retro sci-fi of the 50s and 60s, these keyframes tell the story of a detective from the Mars colony on board the Moon Luxury cruise. His mission is to familiarize himself with the crew and recover a missing weapon detected on the ship.

Wildlife Journal

Journal pages documenting the surreal wildlife of a magical and mysterious island. A researcher has tasked herself with documenting the wildlife population before human civilization destroys them.

Azure Wyrm

A sad day falls upon the kingdom as the general of the army has passed in battle. A court painter is commissioned to make a portrait for the upcoming ceremony of the new general. The painter must embark on a journey to collect a rare pigment only found in dragon scales.
