Rania is a visual development artist who strives to create fun and highly stylized illustrations. Her work, inspired by midcentury artwork, features bright colours and exaggerated shapes. She specializes in background design, character art and prop design. 
She finds great joy in collaborating with her friends and peers and sharing the joy of creation with others in the art community. When she’s not drawing, she loves going to coffee shops with friends, playing video games and hanging out with her cat.

PAWS AND GILLS
A visual development project for a mobile game that revolves around a young adult, Fizzy, who has to look after her grandma’s fish market and eatery while she’s away.

GIBBERISH CIRCUS
An accordion children’s book showcasing Gibberish Circus and its fun and silly performers!

GYARU DOLLS
A dress-up doll sticker book that showcases seven substyles of the Japanese fashion subculture! Below the book is a dress-up game built on the website Scratch using assets from the project.

DESPINA
Two background designs based on the fictional city Despina from Italo Calvino’s postmodern novel, Invisible Cities.
