Lee Foss is a non-binary author and illustrator passionate about creating entertaining, educational, and encouraging youth-oriented narrative work to inspire curiosity in the next generation. 

Lee enjoys bringing stories to life, creating vivid, colourful illustrations with expressive and playful rendering, and will jump at any opportunity to work with material about dinosaurs or other Palaeozoic themes!

Love, Nonni is a picture book about memory and the experience of knowing a loved one affected by dementia. Young readers will learn that there are many ways to show love and many ways to honour a loved one. This book introduces children to the concept of memory: what memories are, the complex ways we interact with and experience memory, and the idea that we may someday lose our memories or become memories ourselves.

Birdie-Birdie

Written by Debbie Foss, Birdie-Birdie gets its name from the sound of a cardinal call. This picture book tells the story of a lonely bird who does not like getting wet from rain and finds a friend just like himself in a puddle following a huge rainstorm!
