Hannah Young
Hi there, it’s nice to meet you! My name is Hannah and I’m an illustrator and storyteller who is a kid at heart. I grew up on the sunny coast of San Luis Obispo, California and am currently surviving the cold Canadian climate in Hamilton, Ontario. I am inspired by the stories that bring us together. I love to create work that evokes a feeling of friendliness to make everyone’s days a little more welcoming and brighter. When I’m not creating a mess at my desk, I can be found exploring in nature, learning a new song on the piano or being a doting plant mom.
The Sun Will Rise
is a children’s picture book that I wrote and illustrated on what it means to believe. It takes strong faith to believe in something that we can’t see like the sun rising with each new day.
