Lost in Arcadia
A narrative zine based on an original narrative about a fictional island named Arcadia and its inhabitants. The immortal inhabitants of the island are confined to the island and therefore have little knowledge of the outside world. The zine combines narrative illustrations and text to offer a glimpse into the island’s various aspects from a different character’s point of view, including its environment, culture, and each character’s contemplation of the world they live in.
Keepers of Yggdrasil
A series of character designs and splash art based on an original game concept.
Blessed by Yggdrasil, a giant tree that is the source of all living beings, each character possesses unique combat abilities that allow them to stand against the human army’s assault on Yggdrasil.
Keepers of Yggdrasil – Character Showcase
A showcase video that features characters from the previous project and uses character splash art to create a promotional video with additional character animatics.
Southbound
An original short comic that explores the concept of moral decisions and grief.
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where human civilization is on the brink of extinction due to a nuclear war. Most survivors live in small communities and often need to migrate from place to place in search of food. As winter arrives, the two caretakers of a small community struggle to secure enough food and face a moral dilemma.
Narrative Postcards
A series of narrative postcards inspired by references collected from a trip to downtown Oakville.
