Andi Bauer
Andi Bauer’s energetic style entertains and sparks conversation. Raw materials like charcoal and newsprint complement her aesthetic. She is inspired by movement and people and enjoys keeping both at the centre of her work. Andi is based in the Canadian Prairies and Toronto.
Into the Fire!
At first glance, this is a story about cooking breakfast. A closer look shows a playful cautionary tale about how chronic stress leads to burnout. In survival mode, basic tasks can feel insurmountable. If a hero fights like hell every morning, how do they make it to lunch?

Visual Adaptation of HUGE
A mock-game concept based on thriller novel HUGE by Canadian comedian Brent Butt. These images establish the story’s unsettling mood by comparing Canada’s beautiful yet daunting backcountry with vulnerable characters in close quarters.
The illustrations became a springboard for exploring a “point & click” game-world. The reel below helps imagine the novel as a playable game, and demonstrates how digital and analog media can work in tandem to tell interactive stories.
Anxiety Group
This series magnifies the poet Catalina Ferro’s experience in group therapy. The illustrations were designed to be printed as a large, imposing book, lending themselves to the poet’s catastrophic expressions of anxiety.
