Boggz Apparel

A hand-printed apparel brand that blends sustainability with printmaking. Through screen printing and linocut techniques, each repurposed garment—from t-shirts and tote bags to posters and patches—features bold, nature-inspired designs that celebrate Canada’s wetlands. Illustrations display native wetland plants and wildlife that highlight the beauty and importance of these often-overlooked ecosystems.

More than just a clothing line, Boggz is a statement on mindful consumption, proving that fashion and environmental responsibility can coexist. By breathing new life into old materials, this project raises awareness for wetland conservation while offering consumers a way to engage in sustainability through art and design.

Never Whistle at Night

This series of decorative posters visually reinterprets Indigenous short horror stories from the anthology Never Whistle at Night, using symbolic imagery to distill their complex narratives. Blending surreal elements with a colour palette inspired by the book’s cover, the designs echo the flat, decorative styles found in traditional Indigenous and folktale art. Rather than retelling the stories, these posters capture their essence through striking symbolism, creating standalone pieces that function as art and merchandise.

The Mariner’s Revenge

This thirty-two-page illustrated picture book offers an alternative to the traditional lyric booklet, bringing “Mariner’s Revenge Song” by The Decemberists to life. Designed as a limited-edition piece of merchandise, this book transforms the lyrics into an immersive visual experience full of moody watercolour and ink illustrations.

Luvbugs

A six-sided wooden block puzzle that merges art and play, featuring illustrations adorned with bugs, plants, and hearts. Each side of the puzzle showcases a whimsical composition brought to life through loveable colour palettes and collaged traditional texture.
