Emily Tragedy
I’m Emily Tragedy, a narrative illustrator and surface designer. I have a passion for all things quirky or spooky. When I am not creating, I am often immersed in a video game or flipping through comics. My love for gaming influences my art as I enjoy adding interactive elements to my pieces, striving to find new ways for viewers to engage with my work.
Pirate Soup
This Choose Your Own Adventure book, designed for preteens, offers readers an exciting array of choices. From overthrowing the captain and seizing control of the ship to battling an underwater beast or teaming up and working alongside their fellow pirates!

Cheddar!
A short comic that captures the funny and relatable experiences of life with a cat. Light and playful, Cheddar! also shows us the reality of pet ownership.

Fear
A series of linocut monsters centred around childhood fears and children’s imaginations. The pieces double as tattoo designs.

Cryptid Collection
A concept for a series of skateboards featuring famous North American Cryptids. This piece re-imagines their designs from their descriptions, inspired by the interaction of skate and graffiti culture.

Tattoo Catalogue
A book inspired by 1890s product catalogues and tattoo portfolios to present tattoos in a new, more appealing manner, one that connects old and new imagery. It offers an alternative to traditional tattoo flash sheets, showcasing tattoos in an eye-catching and clear format. This work stands out in an ever-growing industry while offering an attractive display for artists and clients.
